Samuel J Iaquinto - President

Sam grew up in the city of Hamtramck where he became an Eagle Scout and attended Lawrence Tech where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Industrial Engineering. He is an entrepreneur, who has started and ran several successful companies. He has served Northfield Township for over 20 years on multiple boards to bring a business prospective to local government. He is the husband of Anne and the father of Sammy and Spencer. Sam enjoys water sports, snowmobiling and spending time with his family.

Chris Chauvin - Vice President

I was born and raised in the Detroit area. I am the wife of Bill Chauvin, a retired Chrysler employee, married for 43 years, and mother of two married daughters, and proud grandmother of five. I hold bachelors and masters degrees in Physical Education from EMU. I taught at Grosse Ile High School. I was the Coordinator of Educational Ministries at St. Paul LC in Trenton, MI for 13 years before retiring to Fenton, MI on one of Michigan’s beautiful inland lakes. I have volunteered for many years in our two church homes, St. Paul – Trenton and Shepherd of the Lakes – Brighton. I love singing in the choirs and serving in areas where God has gifted me. I also served 12 years as an elected member of the MichiganDistrict - LCMS Board of Directors.

Dr. Carrie Bell MD - Treasurer

Assistant Professor Obstetrics & Gynecology U of M Medical School Specialties:
Obstetrics & Gynecology

Area of Practice:
Preventative care, Minimally invasive procedures, Surgical alternatives

As a professor at the U of M Medical School in Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. Bell provides medical expertise to the Board to ensure the clinic follows best practices.

Karen Adkins-Bley JD, MSA, RN - Secretary

A Clinical Auditor in the UMHS Compliance Office

With her experience in Labor and Delivery and work in risk management Karen provides valuable legal insights to the Board

Steve Zwart - VP Program Development at Wellspring Lutheran Services

Steve provides excellent insight into the social services needs of the clinic.

Tom Leeds - At Large

Tom is an elder at Christ Our Savior LC in Livonia and a retired Biomedical engineer. He provides necessary upkeep and knowledge of all of our medical equipment.
